Ratings and reviews

1. The search function is horrible. It's very hard to narrow down search. 2. I went to at least 3-4 places where burpple user are given a separate menu with the price doubled. 3. One restaurant charge me a weekend surcharge and the surcharge Is not made obvious until I click on the deal itself (which is usually done by the staff upon redemption). As NONE of the places I've visited so far have such surcharge, it's ridiculous how it's not made more visible to the users upfront. Terrible exp!!!

The app doesn't work and hasn't been working for the past few days. I haven't really checked prior to that. customer service took days to reply and I was provided a web app to access. I could only use the web app through incognito. very bad optics. I might not re-subscribe as I couldn't use burpple when I needed it. I could have chosen a restaurant that's not a burpple partner. edit: hasn't worked for the past one week

Would rate lower if possible. Was given beyond as a gift. You are forced to add a credit card during registration and auto-renewal is enabled by default. New users would not know this. And i recently got charged for it. Customer service just gives templated responses and are inflexible, hiding behind the "non-refundable" policy. Bad experience. In this pandemic, deals aren't that great as well
