About this app
Leave a Buruda card on your dashboard instead of your phone number.
If your car is in someone's way, they scan the QR code on the card (no app needed) or type your license plate in the app, and you get a notification: "Please move your car". You reply with one tap ("I'll be right out", "About 5 minutes") and neither side ever sees the other's phone number.
FOR CAR OWNERS
• Add your license plate and print the dashboard card the app makes for you
• Get a notification when someone needs you to move, or spots your hazard lights on, or a window or trunk left open
• Reply with one tap from the notification
• Pause notifications whenever you want
WHEN YOU ARE BLOCKED IN
• Double parked car, blocked driveway, boxed in at the parking lot: type the license plate of the car in your way and pick a message
• If the owner uses Buruda, they are notified right away
• You see their reply as a notification
• If the car is not registered, we tell you, and nothing about the plate is stored
PRIVACY
• No phone numbers, ever
• Plates are stored encrypted
• Report and block anyone who misuses it
• No ads, no tracking
License plates supported: South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Israel, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa.
Buruda is not an emergency service and cannot guarantee that an owner will respond.
