About this app

Ribbon is the J.N. Darby New Translation (JND) with a reading plan woven into the reading itself – not bolted on the side.

Pick how you want to read, choose the day you want to finish, and Ribbon does the rest. Each day it gives you a balanced portion, you read it in the same place you track it, and when you're done it moves you on to tomorrow's reading.

READ THE WHOLE BIBLE, YOUR WAY
• Chronological plan – read the events of Scripture in the order they happened
• Front-to-back plan – Genesis to Revelation
• Choose your finish date – a year, six months, or whatever suits you
• Daily portions balanced by length, so no day is suddenly twice as long as the last
• Mark a reading as done and go straight on to the next
• See where you are at a glance: today's reading, what's coming up, and whether you're on track

THE JND TEXT, BEAUTIFULLY LAID OUT
• J.N. Darby's New Translation throughout
• One verse per line, like a printed Bible
• Clean, comfortable typography for daily reading
• Bookmarks to keep your place in passages you return to

SEARCH THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
• Fast full-text search across the whole Bible
• Find a verse from a few words you remember
• Search history, so you can get back to what you were looking at

SPEED READING
• An optional moving-text mode to help you get through longer portions

FREE FOR YOUR FIRST MONTH
Try everything free for 30 days. After that, Ribbon is a monthly or yearly subscription – the yearly plan is the best value. You won't be charged until your trial ends, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.

What’s new

• Invite a friend: when they subscribe, you get two months free.
• Share a collection with a friend or your home group in a message, or paste a list of readings and Ribbon makes it into a collection.
• A shared collection comes with a link. Tap it in WhatsApp, a text or an email to see the passages in Ribbon, then add them. Without Ribbon, the link shows the list on a web page, with a link to get Ribbon.
• Pause the speed reader and tap the verse to bookmark it, highlight it or add a note.
