Extremely aggressive ads - seemed like it was trying to install malware. If it wasn't an ad then the app has no idea how to deal with plain text files and wants to install a PDF reader to handle them, which makes no sense. So either it is malware or the app sucks at opening text files. Either gets an immediate uninstall from me. Edit: If that's true these Google ads are screwing you out of users - it appeared when I opened a file, was full screen, and looked like the rest of your app.

Hi, our app does not try to install PDF reader, you most likely got an ad. We only show Google ads and Google does not allow deceptive ads, but some do get through before they are taken down by Google. You can disable ads for one week in Settings and repeat each week.

STILL... There are so many good text editors available through a one-off purchase, which receive regular updates, that buying yours with none would seem foolish. If, however, you were to offer a reasonable upgrade fee, i.e., some percentage of the original cost, for major feature additions (not bug fixes or minor updates to already paid-for features), I might consider buying from you. And thanks for caring to ask! ORIGINAL: No outright purchase. To avoid ads, you have to watch an ad. ???

Would you purchase the current version if we release it separately as a paid finalized app (which will not receive more updates)?

The app is overall, really good. I love that it doesn't use ai or have any ai features whatsoever because that's what I was looking for. I have only one complaint, and to me it is a big one. I'm very upset at the fact that you can not chose dark mode as a theme for oojao text editor. It is, seriously, the best text editing and writing app that I have and use, but the lack of dark mode makes it seriously hard for me to write. I've been using lime because its the darkest one, haha! Great app!!!!

Hi, you have to enable dark theme on your Android Settings or from the Quick Settings panel (when you swipe down from the top).
