Triplicate gives landlords and property managers a straightforward way to document rental property conditions during move-in and move-out walkthroughs. The app mimics the familiar feel of a carbon-copy clipboard, so every inspection record feels just like filling out a multi-part paper form. From the Dashboard tab, you get an instant snapshot of your total inspections and how many you completed this month, displayed as large scribbled marker numbers. The three most recent inspections are right below those counters, so you can quickly return to the latest walkthroughs. When you need to add a new record, the Add tab presents a clean form with fields for the property address, inspection date, inspector name, and your condition notes. Tapping the clipboard-shaped save button stamps a red circular “Inspected” mark onto the form and files it into your local log. Every saved inspection appears as a triplicate form card with a perforated top edge, typed address and date in a typewriter font, and handwritten notes. The red round stamp with the inspection date inside replaces checkmarks, giving each record a validated, professional look. In the Inspections tab, all your walkthroughs are listed with the newest first, letting you scroll through your full history effortlessly. Need to find a specific unit or inspector? The Search tab filters your records instantly as you type, matching by address or inspector name. You can revisit any inspection to review notes or update details, and changes are saved directly on your device. All of your records stay in local storage, so you don’t need an account or an internet connection to access them. Whether you’re a landlord tracking multiple properties, a tenant documenting an apartment’s condition, or a home inspector running simple walkthroughs, Triplicate keeps your paperwork organized and always at hand. The app’s cohesive clipboard motif, from the binder-clip tab bar to the paper-rustle animations, makes every interaction feel tactile and purposeful.
