Ratings and reviews

First off, this game is a blast for people who like strategy games. The student play styles, units, tactics, and constant updates keep me wanting to play. HOWEVER, from someone who has played 14 months I've noticed an influx of P2W players. The game has a free gold resource you get for winning and daily bonus but you can also spend $100+ to get a bunch of gold and resource cards. With this, you can spend an entire month playing a match and some P2W can drop $100.00 and run that. I'm leaving.

I love this game, always have. I just recently picked it back up and it was interesting to learn the new resource dynamic since they got rid of goods and rare materials. I actually like the new war bonds resource now that I know what all you can do with it. Four stars for now because I'm getting tired of the server issues. Also sick of the ads that crash the game app and you don't get the reward for watching the ad.

The strategy aspect to the game is very fun, but the amount of PTW there is, is insane. Having a membership basically takes away all the skill needed from the game and a good player with a membership is basically impossible to kill. With the amount of time it takes to play this game added with the fact people can just Pay to win by spamming armies of 10 at the beginning of the game makes the game not fun to play if not irritating.

What’s new

This week’s update enhances naval strategy with expanded vision for ships and standardized unit mobilization times. Infrastructure speed bonuses are now limited to friendly territory, providing a decisive tactical advantage to defenders. Commandos gain extra vision, and key bug fixes restore core territory defense damage bonuses and real-time display of delay orders.
