"So far so good. This is the second Sudoku app I've played, and one of many different Sudoku methods I've used. But since this is only my second day of using it, I'm not yet comfortable giving this app 5 Stars. I reserve the right to update at a later time". Well, it is later by over a hundred games and I am completely satisfied. It is extremely rare for me to give anything 5 Stars, but this is about as close as it gets!
Best sudoku game I ever tried. Really deserves rating 5 stars. Good controls, background, and the numbers size is very suitable. I tried other sudoku games that made my eye very tired. This one is very comfortable for my eyes that I keep using it for hours. No disturbing ads. Really Thank you.
For a while I considered the handwriting recognition feature a gimmick. I finally realized that it is very handy for quickly finishing off puzzles when all the remainders are turning into singles. It can be toggled conveniently from the panel. I have it off during the difficult phase of puzzles with (the possibly misguided) idea of saving power.
Does everything a sudokulayer should want in gameplay. Extras such as extraneous layouts, etc., not so much, but that is a real plus for me. The games never end - seem to be dynamically generated, though I have exhausted one or two categories. Great app. You'll get all the sudoku you want while you look (in vain) for a better playing app.
The "manual" number part is not very practical and lies much too close to the "C" button, sometimes causing me to open up the manual unintentionally. For the rest, the app is amazingly good, especially since the possibilities per square dwindle. Kudos for this app.
I don't know how I've been playing Sudoku without a handwriting function! It takes a bit to learn your writing, but learn it certainly does! The interface is clean and easy to use and the difficulty settings seem to be accurate so far. There are only two things I want to mention. One is that when you check the puzzle it includes notes as if they were permanent numbers and shows you exactly which ones are in the place of the permanent number you haven't figured out yet. And two is that a note toggle button would be nice, rather than double tapping, for some reason I can't get the hang of that. But, those are very small issues that are easy to play around and I'm sure will get easier as I get use to it. I can't speak to the all of the variations available yet, I'm still learning the basics. I've been trying different apps for few weeks looking for just the right one to learn the game and here it is! The tutorial is wonderful; very clear and easy to understand. Thanks for a great Sudoku app! It's a keeper!
