About this app
Cab Connect Driver is the driver app for Cab Connect, a ride-hailing service in Fiji.
Tap the Online button to start work. While you are Online, Cab Connect runs a location foreground service and shows a persistent notification titled "Cab Connect · Location sharing". Your live GPS is shared so nearby passengers can request a ride and track your arrival, even when the app is in the background or the screen is off. Tap Offline to stop the service, remove the notification, and stop all location sharing. Location is not collected while you are Offline.
What you can do:
• Go Online and receive nearby ride requests
• Accept a ride, navigate to pickup, and confirm the passenger with a PIN
• Complete the trip and see your earnings
• Go Offline at any time to stop live location sharing
Location is used only to match you with nearby passengers and to let the passenger track your arrival during an active trip. You start and stop that sharing yourself with the Online / Offline button.
