About this app

Hatch Board is the daily briefing for Colorado's South Platte and Pueblo tailwaters. Open it streamside and it already shows what matters: the current flow, a plan for this time of day, and the flies to tie on first.

Eleven Mile Canyon, Cheesman Canyon, Deckers, the Dream Stream, the South Platte above Spinney, and the Pueblo tailwater.

LIVE FLOWS
Every water shows its current CFS from the public gauge, colored by what those numbers actually mean for fishing that stretch, with the last 14 days of trend so you can see what the river has been doing.

PLAYBOOKS, NOT GENERIC ADVICE
Each water carries a dated playbook built from current local fly shop reports: a read on conditions, then concrete plays for morning, midday, and evening. Open the app at 7am and you get the morning plan. Come back after lunch and it has moved on to the midday window. Playbooks refresh through the season without app updates.

A FLY BOX THAT ANSWERS THE REAL QUESTION
The box for each water leads with the patterns the current playbook calls for, in priority order - what to tie on first, not an alphabetical catalog. Every pattern is hand-illustrated in watercolor, with hook sizes, colors, and honest notes on how it fishes.

No signal in Cheesman? Everything works offline. Playbooks, flies, art, and plans are all on your phone; live flow readings simply pick back up when you find a bar of service.
