About this app

We connect people with Taxis so that they can arrange their journey by a phone call and pay the taxi fare directly to the driver according to the regulated taximeter. CabMap is a low-tech ride hailing solution; when a user opens the app, the live map automatically centres on the user location, making it easy to select the nearest available taxi. When the user selects a taxi icon, they can place a phone call with just two further taps on the screen. Furthermore, the app contains a location-sharing switch that allows the user to show their current location to the taxi driver on the website at CabMap.com.

What’s new

• Show taxis on map offline, only user’s pin.
• Fix: Username search wrongly shows “you need to be online” when online.
• On first launch, show online drivers instantly (like cabmap.com) without profile completion.
• Drivers see only clients; clients see only drivers.
• Drivers don’t see own pin info; info bubbles show only for opposite roles.
