The ALA Mobile Conference mobile application allows you to access the American Library Association's various annual conferences. Within the underlying event apps, users can access presentations, exhibitors, posters, and connect with other attendees. Users can also take notes adjacent available presentation slides and draw directly on slides inside the event apps.

App is using foreground services to download event data and images from the server.

App constantly freezes and crashes when I try to open my schedule. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times, and it just won't work. Very frustrating! I'm glad that I have all that info online since the midwinter conference is virtual this year, but I really hope that this app is better when we're back in person.

Enjoyed the app. Easier than carrying the full schedule and catalog. Search function could be a bit better, perhaps by having better descriptions with better key words included within them. For example, if you put two words in the search, it would only bring back exact matches to the phrase. if the words were in reverse order in the session description, it would return no results.

Except that exhibits are called library marketplace, the app works as expected. Slow to open, you'll have to keep it open during the conference. Would have liked to see a top level list of major speakers. If there is such a list in the app, we'll, that tells you that it is a bit opaque. You need to know where the information is in order to find it.
