DWG Viewer is a fast CAD viewer for DWG and DXF drawings: open 2D and 3D CAD files from AutoCAD and other CAD apps, measure, mark up and convert DWG to PDF or PNG. No sign-up, works offline.

DWG Viewer opens AutoCAD DWG and DXF drawings and 3D CAD models right on your phone. No account, no upload: every file is read on the device, so it works on site, in the field or on a plane.

Made for architects, engineers, contractors, site managers, surveyors, interior designers, students and anyone who gets a floor plan or blueprint by email and just needs to look at it, check a dimension and send a note back.

OPEN ANY DRAWING
• 2D: DWG and DXF, including drawings saved by AutoCAD and most other CAD apps
• 3D: IFC (BIM), STEP, IGES, STL, OBJ, glTF / GLB, PLY, 3MF and Rhino 3DM
• Open from Files, Google Drive, Gmail, WhatsApp, Telegram or any app's Share button
• Tap "Open with" on a DWG or DXF attachment and choose DWG Viewer
• Recent and Favorites lists with search, so the drawings you use stay one tap away

VIEW FAST

• Layers: show or hide each layer, see its colour
• Find text in the drawing (room names, tags, notes) and jump to it

QUESTIONS
• Can I edit a DWG? No. DWG Viewer is a viewer: it does not edit or save changes to the original CAD file. Markup and measurements go into the PNG or PDF you save.
• A DWG won't open? Some very new or protected DWG files may not open; saving them again as DXF from your CAD program usually helps.
• Do I need AutoCAD? No. You need nothing else to open DWG and DXF files.

What’s new

Every button now answers. Pro tools (measure, markup, section, explode) can be tried free on a drawing when no video is available, and a video that fails to play still unlocks the tool. Export and Fit stay tappable while a drawing opens and tell you to wait. Share, Rate, Contact support, Privacy choices and Clear recent always show a result or a clear message.
