Café Fléchés offers French crossword puzzles to solve just like at the bar, on your phone or tablet: a puzzle, a coffee, ten minutes to yourself.
The clues are in the squares, the arrows provide the meaning, and the words intersect. The grid is designed like those in a newspaper: clues in small capitals, arrows at the edge of the squares, and clear, crisp grids.
THREE SIZES, DEPENDING ON HOW TIME YOU HAVE
• Mini 8x8 — about twenty words, the time it takes to drink an espresso (5 to 10 min)
• Classic 10x10 — the traditional newspaper format (10 to 20 min)
• Large 13x13 — the big weekend puzzle (20 to 40 min)
THREE LEVELS OF DEFINITION
The grid size and the difficulty of the clues can be chosen separately for each size.
• Level 1 — straightforward definitions
• Level 2 — more sophisticated vocabulary
• Level 3 — allusive, double-meaning definitions, like in magazines
Over 600 puzzles are included with the app.
THE DAILY CHALLENGE
Every day, a Classic puzzle awaits you on the home screen, just like the morning puzzle. The app keeps track of your consecutive days and monitors your progress: completed puzzles, current streak, average time per format.

• The cursor skips over already filled squares
• Once a word is completed, the app moves on to the next one
• Tapping the current square toggles between horizontal and vertical orientation
