Recipe cost calculation and sales management for cafes and small restaurants, all on your phone. Cafelyze is a bookkeeping app built for independent shop owners. Work out the right menu price from your food cost percentage, and track daily sales, expenses, average spend per customer, and profit margin in one place. No accounting knowledge required, and it works without an internet connection.

■ Recipe Cost Calculator
Enter the purchase price and amount used for each ingredient, and the cost per cup or per plate is calculated automatically. Set a target food cost percentage and Cafelyze works backwards to the right selling price — useful evidence when deciding on a price increase.
Results can be added straight to your menu, so costing and menu management stay connected. Save frequently used ingredients to the material library: coffee beans, milk and sugar can be recalled with a tap.

■ Sales Management
Pick items from your menu and set quantities with +/- buttons to record daily sales and customer counts. Save common combinations as presets so daily entry takes seconds.
When you save a sale, the ingredient costs of linked recipes are recorded as expenses automatically — no double entry.

■ Expense Tracking
Record expenses by category: materials, labour, rent, utilities and other, with fixed and variable cost classification. Set your monthly rent once and it is applied every month.

■ Dashboard
See today's sales, customer count and average spend at a glance. Monthly sales, expenses and profit are shown as KPIs, with daily sales as a bar chart. Target achievement updates in real time.

■ Analytics Reports
View monthly sales analysis and profit margin. FLR analysis (food, labour and rent ratios) helps diagnose the health of your cafe, and cumulative sales versus expenses can be compared on a chart.

■ Menu Management
Organise items by category — drinks, food, desserts and more. Link recipes to keep an eye on each item's cost percentage, and filter which items appear during sales entry.

■ Target Management
Set a monthly sales target and track achievement with a progress bar.

■ Data Management
Export sales and expense data as CSV to analyse in a spreadsheet or use when preparing tax paperwork. Back up and restore all data as JSON to move to a new device. Past data remains available in the archive.
