Caffeine Hunter is a field guide to specialty coffee, started by a coffee obsessive who spent years travelling for work and never trusted a random search to find a good cup.

Every shop in the guide is chosen on one rule: it has to be genuinely worth a detour. No chains, no tourist traps, no scraped ratings. Just serious coffee, city by city, around the world.

Open the app in a city we cover and see the closest shops first, with distance, opening hours and whether they are open right now. Switch to the map to see every shop around you at a glance.

FILTER FOR WHAT YOU NEED
Looking for wifi, a place to work on a laptop, outdoor seating, vegan options, or step free access? Filter the guide down to the shops that fit.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Each shop page tells you what makes the place special, who runs it, and exactly how to get there, so you can plan a stop in a city you have never visited.

YOUR PASSPORT
Keep a record of every café you have visited, by city and country. Arrival reminders can nudge you when you reach a shop. Sign in with Google or email to back it up, or skip the account and keep everything on your phone.

NO TRACKING
We do not track you. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.

What’s new

Meet the order helper. Pick your drink, size, milk and extras, then show your phone to the barista in their own language. It works offline and never places an order or takes payment. Find it on any shop page and in Favourites. It remembers your last order so you can repeat it with one tap. Also included: small improvements and fixes.
