Tired of spam, scams, telemarketers and harassers? CallShield is a privacy-first call blocker for Android that filters unwanted calls before they ever disturb you — not only on your phone line, but also inside your messaging apps.

Where ordinary call blockers stop at the SIM, CallShield goes further: it also blocks unwanted calls from WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Messenger and Instagram. Each app can be turned on or off independently.

TWO SIMPLE MODES
• Whitelist mode: only your contacts and trusted numbers can reach you; everything else is silently blocked. Perfect for total peace of mind, or for a child or an elderly relative.
• Blacklist mode: all calls come through normally, except the numbers you've blocked. Perfect for silencing specific nuisances without missing anything else.

PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS
CallShield asks only for what it needs to filter your calls, and every permission is optional:
• Phone state — to identify the incoming call for screening.
• Contacts — to recognise trusted callers and add numbers to your lists.
• Notification access — to detect incoming calls from the messaging apps you enable.
• Accessibility service — used only to detect the call screen of messaging apps and automatically hang up an unwanted call. It does not read any other content, never records your screen, and transmits nothing. This feature is optional; phone-call blocking works without it.
