CamStream turns your Android phone or tablet into a real ONVIF™ network camera. Start the app and your device becomes an IP camera that your NVR, DVR or video surveillance software automatically discovers on the network and streams live video from.

It's the perfect way to reuse an old phone as a security camera for your home, office, shop, garage, baby monitor or pet cam — with no extra hardware.

WORKS WITH
ONVIF Device Manager, Home Assistant, Frigate, Synology Surveillance Station, Blue Iris, Agent DVR and most NVR/VMS systems that support ONVIF or RTSP.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open CamStream and set a username and password
2. Tap Start: the phone begins streaming
3. In your NVR/VMS, add an ONVIF camera: it is found automatically, or enter the IP address shown in the app
4. The Connection tab shows the ready-to-copy ONVIF, RTSP and snapshot addresses

NOTES
• Video stays on your local network: CamStream does not send your streams to any external server
• Keep the device powered for continuous use
• Requires camera permission
