Set up your flash with confidence, even in daylight.

Flash Power measures the distance from flash to subject, or lets you enter it manually, then recommends a flash power setting from your aperture, ISO, flash profile and zoom-head position.

BUILT FOR CAMERA TRAPPERS
When you set up a camera trap in daylight, ambient light makes it difficult to judge how your flash will expose a nighttime shot. Flash Power gives wildlife photographers a practical starting point without waiting until dark. Fine-tune each flash profile to suit your equipment and setup.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Hold your phone next to your flash and point it at your subject
2. Measure the distance automatically on a supported device, or enter a measured distance manually
3. Select your flash and set your camera's aperture and ISO
4. Read the recommended power and set it on your flash

FLASH PROFILES
Preconfigured for Camtraptions F1, Z1/Z2 and Z Pro. Save multiple custom profiles for other manual flashes using their guide numbers and zoom behaviour. Edit, duplicate and delete profiles, with a separate fine-tuning adjustment for each flash.

DEVICE SUPPORT
Automatic measurement requires camera permission and an ARCore-supported device. Manual distance entry is available when automatic measurement is unavailable. Distance accuracy depends on the device and scene; use a measured distance when needed.

SUBSCRIPTION
A subscription is required to unlock flash power calculations. New subscribers are offered an annual plan. Eligible new subscribers can start with a 14-day free trial. The price and applicable trial terms are shown in the app and Google Play before you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled. Manage or cancel it through Google Play.

Flash Power uses the guide number formula and inverse square law to help you choose a practical starting exposure for off-camera flash.
