Auto Dark Theme allows you to automatically switch between the light and dark theme of your Android 10. It does so according to sunrise and sunset or according to the time slots of your choice.

This way, you can enjoy the light theme during the day and the dark theme at night, without doing anything!

Moreover, the application smartly changes the theme and prevents you from being interrupted when you use your phone!

Ratings and reviews

Much like some other users of the app, I have noticed that a recent update appears to break the pixel 3 dialer app (especially when receiving a call while locked) causing it to come up with the same call multiple times and making it difficult to access the ongoing call screen. It's quite unfortunate because otherwise it's really useful, but I'll have to uninstall it until the issue is resolved.

Edit as of 11/10 update: Pixel's Phone app major issues are fixed. The always-on-display also has a few issues whenever this app is enabled but is very rare to appear since the recent update. Big thanks to the developer. Changing my rating accordingly. Unfortunately, the theme will sometimes not automatically change while locked. Sometimes I will unlock my phone in the morning and see the transition lag on the lockscreen.

The app is excellent, except for one thing. It doesn't work on OnePlus' OxygenOS, because there are too many customization options. It only toggles the drop-down menu's color, and that's all. Furthermore, it doesn't keep the tone color, and sets it to default each time it changes the theme. Please work on this, make your code in a way that it works with non-stock Android, or make another app for OxygenOS users. If it will work as expected I promise I will download it and give it 5 stars.
