Cantio Pilot turns your phone into a remote control for displaying hymns during Mass. Instead of returning to your computer between verses, you switch slides from your seat at the organ.
The app works with the free Cantio program for Windows, which displays hymn lyrics on a projector or TV in the church.
PROJECTION CONTROL (free)
• Next and previous slide, screen blanking
• Preview of the text the faithful see
• Pairing by scanning a QR code—no account required or login
• Connection only via a local network, secured with a PIN
TODAY—LITURGICAL DAY (free)
• Liturgical calendar for each day, with the year of the reading cycle
• Celebrations specific to Polish dioceses—you choose your diocese
• Readings, psalm, and acclamation
• Antiphons and Mass prayers from the form for a given day
• Multiple celebrations for a single date as separate tabs
This section works without a computer—all texts are embedded in the app and available offline.

In the future, suggestions will also be built into the program.

TV CONTROL (PRO)

WHAT YOU NEED
To control the projection, you need the free Cantio software on a Windows computer connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Download the software from github.com/CSnipper/cantio-app — it's free and open source.
The Today and Schedule tabs work independently, without a computer.
WHY IT WORKS IN CHURCH
The image on the projector is fed via a cable from your computer, so a parish Wi-Fi outage doesn't interrupt the text display. Your phone is a convenient addition, not a requirement for operation. If there's no router in the church, a hotspot from your computer or phone will suffice.
PRIVACY
The app doesn't create accounts and doesn't require you to log in. The hymns, sets, and notes stay on your phone and your computer—they don't go to any external servers. The computer connection works only over a local network.
PRO VERSION
The Today, Schedule, Songs, offline work, and procession mode features require a subscription. Slide control remains free.
Cantio was created for organists and parish projectionists—to reduce the time it takes to prepare for a service, and to ensure that the service doesn't distract you from playing.
