About this app

We are evaluating an innovative digital device (a smartphone application) as part of a medical study by the University Hospital Center and the University of Nantes, funded by the Directorate General of the Care Offer (DGOS, PHRC 19-0026). aimed at accompanying your child during homework periods. This application works schematically as an intelligent personal assistant (in the sense that it benefits from an algorithm developed with artificial intelligence). The app can be used on its own by your child, although you may have access to some features. She should help your child before, during and after homework time. In practice, it is about reminding him to take his things, to settle in the right place to carry out his work then to help him to organize himself in time, to lavish him general advice, to encourage him. and when the homework is done to help him with his business for the next day. The idea is not to replace a human being (parents, teachers, tutors) but to allow digitally accompanied autonomy in the homework process. We believe, and want to verify it with this study, that the regular use of our application can make this sometimes conflicting moment more efficient and more peaceful. Scientific literature shows that when this period of homework goes better, school results are better and parental stress (as well as the atmosphere at home) is also improved. This is the purpose of this app. There is currently no comparable application. To suggest your child's participation, please send an email to bp-uupea@chu-nantes.fr
