OatCall is a standalone solution developed by CapSEC to help you regain complete control of your phone against unwanted calls, robocalls, and spam.

Unlike traditional market solutions that mine your data and upload your contact list to cloud servers, OatCall works in a 100% isolated and local manner.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE AND HOW IT WORKS
OatCall is NOT a caller ID service (like name/company lookup services) and does NOT have an external database. The application operates on a strict model: it blocks calls from any number that is not previously authorized. To ensure that important calls are not silenced, keep your phone's contact list always updated with the numbers of your work contacts, schools, doctors, service providers, and family members.

⚡ HOW BLOCKING AND AUTHORIZATION WORK

OatCall intercepts calls from numbers that do not have your prior authorization in two simple ways:

1. System Address Book: All contacts saved in your phone's default address book are automatically authorized.

2. Local Trust List: In the app's history, you can promote any blocked number to your personal Trust List without cluttering your phone's address book.

OatCall utilizes the native Android screening API to ensure immediate silencing and only trigger discreet notifications when an interruption is avoided.
