About this app

Captain Tide is a fishing logbook for anglers who want every trip on record
instead of scattered across a camera roll and a notes app. Start an expedition
when you leave the harbour, log what you catch and what you see along the way,
and end the day with a complete captain's log of the trip. Everything stays on
your phone.

Name the trip, pick the water you are fishing, set the weather and temperature,
and Captain Tide starts a live timer counting your time at sea. While you fish,
log catches with species, weight, length and method; log the wildlife you meet —
dolphins riding the bow wave, a turtle drifting on a weed line, a marlin
free-jumping off the port side; and keep the moments worth remembering with a
photo and a note. Every entry lands on the expedition timeline in order, so the
finished trip reads like a log page: departure, each catch and sighting with its
own timestamp, and the return to harbour.

WHY CAPTAIN TIDE
It is built for the boat rather than the desk. Logging a fish takes seconds, the
controls are large enough for wet hands, and the deep-ocean interface stays
readable in bright sun. There is no account to create and nothing to sync, so it
works the same twenty miles offshore as it does at the dock — which is exactly
where a fishing log has to work.

PRIVACY
Captain Tide works fully offline. Your expeditions, notes and photos are stored
only on this device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics and no
advertising, and the app requests no permissions at all.
