About this app

Captomatic Falcon turns an Android phone into a fixed capture camera for attractions: water slides, zip lines, roller coasters, wind tunnels, trampoline parks and other rides. Mount the phone, register it, and it captures guests' photos and videos automatically and delivers them to your Falcon site.

This app is for venue operators. It needs a Falcon site to connect to. Create one at falcon.captomatic.com, or use your own system built on the public Falcon device API.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Create a site at falcon.captomatic.com.
2. In the portal, register a device. A QR code is shown.
3. Open the app on the phone and scan the QR code. Done, no login needed.
4. Captures appear in the portal, ready for processing and delivery to guests.

- Button in the app or remote command from the portal
- Motion detection
- External trigger over the local network (UDP)
- Bluetooth button

FEATURES
- Photos and videos with sound
- Use a supported external camera, connected to the phone by USB
- Remote control from the portal: live snapshots, camera adjustments, commands, status and logs
- Two delivery modes: upload everything, or upload only what is needed and fetch full files on demand to keep mobile data low
- Offline-tolerant: captures wait on the phone and upload when the connection is back
- Captured files are removed from the phone after delivery
- No ads, no analytics, no accounts in the app
