About this app

CaptureRelay gives photographers, reporters, content teams, and field staff a fast, controlled way to deliver properly sized images directly to WordPress.

Connect the app to one or more WordPress websites running the CaptureRelay plugin. Each connection must be approved by a website administrator before the device can upload anything.

CAPTURE OR CHOOSE
• Take a new photo with the built-in camera
• Select one or multiple images from your device
• Review images before delivery
• Add an optional title and photo credit

DELIVER THE RIGHT IMAGE
• Resize and crop images to each website’s required dimensions
• Optimize files according to the destination website’s settings
• Send one image to multiple approved websites at the same time
• Deliver a correctly sized copy to every selected destination

CONTROL STAYS WITH THE WEBSITE
Website administrators approve, rename, revoke, or permanently block devices from the CaptureRelay WordPress plugin. The site controls its delivery requirements, upload limits, compression settings, and notification preferences.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN
CaptureRelay does not include advertising, analytics, location tracking, or GPS metadata. Photos and connection information are sent only when you choose a destination and initiate a delivery.

A compatible WordPress website with the CaptureRelay plugin is required.
