Updated message: I upgraded this app from a 1 star to a 5 star. The app is working on my phone again. I use the Carbonite Mobile service because it a great tool to access your PC in hand while on the go. Thank you to the IT Tech team for quickly resolving this issue. Works for me. I read the reviews that said you couldn't connect to the server. I installed the app anyway, logged in, and tapped on the name of my computer. Sure enough, i got the dreaded "can't connect to server". I tried a couple of times, gave up and set my phone down. When I came back, I was connected. I was able to view a text file and a proprietary format music file.

Laziness can only keep me for so long. I've been paying for Carbonite for years. It was previously a great product. However, every few months, something new seems to happen to make me like it less and less. I just tried accessing something from the mobile app and I got a message saying the application cannot be installed on rooted devices. One problem... My phone hasn't been rooted. I restarted my phone but still can't log in. I don't see myself renewing at the end of this term.
