About this app

Carbon Vision is a 3D printer monitoring application that provides real-time control and monitoring of SDCP-compatible 3D printers directly over your local network. The app features comprehensive printer status monitoring including temperature readings, print progress tracking, live video streaming from printer cameras, and complete print job control with start, pause, resume, and stop functionality. Built with Flutter for cross-platform compatibility, Carbon Vision operates using direct peer-to-peer communication with printers via the SDCP protocol, eliminating the need for external servers while providing enhanced security and faster response times. Users can manage multiple printers simultaneously, browse and manage print files, view detailed print history, control printer lighting systems, and monitor fan speeds and positioning data, all through a modern dark-themed interface designed for professional use.

Future version will integrate with OctoEverywhere for remote access to your 3D printers.

What’s new

This is an early test of the Carbon Vision application just to get some initial feedback. This release is local only. Remote integration is currently being developed and will come in a future beta release.
