This is a tactical game where you move pieces on a board and overlay them with "military command cards" from your hand.
A 9x9 board, 10 types of pieces, and 30 cards. It's completely free and can be played offline.
■ Three Ways to Win
- Defeat the King – Defeat the opponent's King to win immediately.
- Annihilate – Defeat all of the opponent's pieces to win.
- Capture Bases – Hold three base squares on the board for two consecutive turns to win.
Attack, defend, or capture the board? There's more than one way to win.
■ 10 Types of Pieces
King, Warrior, Archer, Scout, Infantry, Knight, Spearman, Sorcerer, Monk, Standard Bearer.
Each piece has different movement range, health, and attack power.
Some pieces use magic, such as the Sorcerer (fireballs and curses), the Monk (healing), and the Standard Bearer (inspiration).
Infantry and spearmen become "Warriors" and fully recover their health when they reach the enemy's base.
■ Military Order Cards
A deck of 30 cards, one card per turn.
Cards include March, Assault, Heal, Iron Wall, Sniper, Poison Arrow, Heavenly Thunder, and War God—all capable of turning the tide of the game.
The choice of cards and their number significantly alters the battle strategy.
■ Board Mechanisms
・Fortresses ── Entering a fortress increases the attack power of surrounding allies, and inflicts damage on enemies who enter.
・Bases ── You draw more cards for each base you capture; collecting three bases leads to victory.
・Terrain ── Rivers are impassable and arrows cannot penetrate them; movement is limited to one square in swamps; forests reduce damage.
The terrain changes with each game, so no two boards are ever the same.
■ Developing Your Units
Use the funds earned from victories to "Recruit" and collect pieces and cards.
Knights, spearmen, warrior monks, and standard-bearers are acquired through recruitment.
You can build your own army, from rear-row placement and cost allocation to assigning traits.
■ Gameplay
- War Chronicles Chapters ── Fight your way through 5 chapters against progressively stronger enemies.
- Expeditions ── Consecutive battles available after clearing chapters. Advance through battles with carried-over injuries, and bring back your troops if you retreat.
- CPU Difficulty ── Approximately 4 levels from beginner to expert. Piece strength is the same; only the moves differ.
- Player vs. Player ── By sending each other a password, you can play against opponents on the same device or even from a distance.
■ Other
- Progress is automatically saved on your device. You can resume from the same board even after closing the app.
- No personal information is collected.
- Free to play (with ads).
