Çardak is a secure campus social network developed within Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University (IZU), open only to the IZU community. Students, academics, mentors, and clubs come together on a single platform.

You can share posts and stories, comment, and discover content based on your interests through hashtags. You can communicate securely with other IZU members through our encrypted messaging system called Kulis. All messages are encrypted and stored using the AES-256-CBC algorithm.

You can explore campus clubs, follow events, and plan your campus life through the calendar. You can use the map feature to navigate the campus; the Dijkstra algorithm instantly calculates the shortest route to a building, office, or classroom.

You can connect with alumni mentors to guide your career path and follow job postings. You can access lecture notes, ask questions, and help other students through academic resources and the Bilen platform. You can also ask anything you're curious about regarding the university to the AI-powered IZUBot.
