About this app

DirectKey Toolkit is a mobile application to commission DirectKey™-enabled locks and BlueDiamond™ readers for use in hospitality and commercial access control applications. DirectKey Toolkit is used to install, manage, or troubleshoot locks and wall readers fitted with a DirectKey Bluetooth® module or BlueDiamond broker. DirectKey Toolkit requires an authorization code and Personal Identification Number (PIN) code for operation.

I experience a bug with the app where after an indeterminate amount of time, the app logs me out and tells me to reauthorize. Sometimes this happens within fifteen minutes of authorization. What gives? Having to go down to a workstation and log on to OnPortal in order to generate another authorization code and copy it over to my mobile device is an onerous process and something I should only do once, not five times a day.

Very polished, easy to use. I love that it auto scans as you're walking to easily spot issues. Unfortunately this app can not replace the Windows version as there is no way to use a card reader to read a payload. You can enter it manually if you happened to have saved it somehow. I'm holding back one star because of this. Otherwise I'm already in love with it. So much better!

Since the Dec 12 update I receive a message that stated it does not work on rooted phones. My phone is not rooted. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8.
