Perfection is a scam.
Most task trackers are built around streaks. Miss one day and the
counter resets to zero, the app makes sure you feel it, and the whole
thing quietly becomes another way to fail at something.
Close Enough doesn't do that.
It's built on one rule: 70% is enough. Clear 70% of your tasks and the
day counts. Clear 70% of your days — 5 out of 7 — and the week counts.
There is no streak to break, no perfect record to protect, and nothing
that punishes you for having a bad Tuesday.
WHAT IT DOES
• Add your tasks and check them off. Tap anywhere on the row.
• A status line that actually reads the room — "An attempt was made"
at 40%, "Close enough is good enough!" at 70%, "Overachiever" if you
somehow get all of them.
• A seven-day history grid, newest day first, so you can see the shape
of your week at a glance.
• A gold star over every day that cleared 70% — measured against that
day's own tasks, so adding something new today never counts against
last week.
• A weekly counter that tells you where you stand: "5/7 Close enough!"
• One daily reminder, at a time you pick. Not a stream of nagging.
WHAT IT DOESN'T DO
No account. No sign-up. No streaks, no guilt-tripping, no productivity
score. Your tasks stay on your phone.
WHO IT'S FOR
Anyone who has downloaded a habit app, done brilliantly for nine days,
missed the tenth, and never opened it again. This one is designed to
survive that day.
Close enough is good enough.
Close enough is good enough. A task tracker that rewards 70%, not perfection.
