CaseTrace is investigative infrastructure for organizations that operate their own loss prevention and investigative functions.
It gives authorized teams a structured way to document incidents, manage cases, and preserve evidence — from the floor to the file.
WHAT CASETRACE DOES
- Document investigative cases involving incidents, locations, and persons of interest
- Store images, notes, and supporting materials in a structured case record
- Surface "Similarity Result Available" notifications when records share measurable characteristics
- Preserve and export evidence with cryptographic hashing, structured manifests, and integrity verification
- Coordinate investigative information within your organization
BUILT ON CLEAR BOUNDARIES
CaseTrace provides infrastructure — not authority. Your organization is the operator of record for every investigative decision made within the system.
CaseTrace does not:
- Determine or confirm identity
- Decide guilt or wrongdoing
- Direct investigative actions
- Contact law enforcement or file reports automatically
The system surfaces technical analysis and data relationships. Interpretation, decisions, and action belong to a person.
SIMILARITY, NOT CONCLUSIONS
A "Similarity Result Available" notification means records share characteristics above a defined threshold. It does not establish that records refer to the same individual. Investigative interpretation always remains with your team.
EVIDENCE THAT HOLDS
Exports include documentation, images, metadata, and integrity controls designed to preserve the evidentiary structure of your records for lawful sharing with authorities — on your decision, not the system's.
OPTIONAL CROSS-ORGANIZATION ANALYSIS
Organizations may choose to participate in the CaseTrace Global Network (CGN) to identify potential cross-organization relationships between records. Participation is optional and requires explicit authorization.
ADVISORY LANGUAGE GUIDANCE
An optional Live Language Filter encourages neutral, observation-based documentation. It never blocks, rewrites, or censors entries — your original language is preserved exactly as written.
CaseTrace is operated by CaseTrace Systems and powered by BlueWave Technology.
Access requires an authorized organizational account. CaseTrace does not guarantee investigative outcomes.
