About this game

Caz Fusion is a match three puzzle built on a hexagon comb instead of a square grid. Every cell has six neighbours, and the only move is to tap the point where three cells meet. Those three spin around each other one step, and if the new arrangement puts three or more of the same colour together anywhere in the cluster they fuse and drop out of the comb.

Hexagons change the whole shape of the puzzle. A cluster does not have to be a straight line, so groups bend, fork and wrap around each other, and a single spin can close two of them at once. Clusters are scored on their size squared, which means a fused group of six is worth four times a group of three, and every collapse that sets off another one multiplies the whole chain.

Three spins bring a triad back to where it started, so the game tries both new arrangements for you and keeps the first one that fuses something. If neither one does, the spin is refused and costs you nothing, which turns the comb into a puzzle you can read rather than a slot machine you poke at. Touching the comb highlights the exact three cells that will move before you commit.

Sixteen stages each set a higher score target with a fixed number of spins. Clearing one opens the next and stores its best score in the stage grid, so old stages are always worth a cleaner run. Eight charms mark the milestones from the first cleared stage to a six cell fusion, a five step chain and two hundred spins. The masters board ranks your best stage against the other comb players.

Caz Fusion is a portrait game that runs completely offline. There is no account, no advertising, nothing to buy and no timer. Stages, scores and charms live on your device, and the settings screen has a single clear data button that closes every stage but the first.
