WordTrainer helps you build your English vocabulary the natural way —
by learning the words, you actually encounter, not someone else's list.

LOOK UP WORDS
Search any English word using the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary.
See clear definitions grouped by part of speech, with pronunciation audio
and example sentences.

SAVE WITH YOUR OWN TRANSLATION
When you find a word worth remembering, save it with its definition and
add your own translation in your mother language. Your personal vocabulary
list grows as you learn.

PRACTICE WITH SPACED REPETITION
WordTrainer quizzes you on your saved words using a spaced repetition
algorithm — words you find difficult appear more often, words you know
well appear less. Three quiz modes available:
- English → Your language
- Your language → English
- Mixed

IMPORT YOUR OWN WORD LIST
Already have a vocabulary list? Import it directly from an Excel file
(.xlsx) and start practicing immediately.

WORKS FULLY OFFLINE
Once words are saved, the quiz works without an internet connection.
Only dictionary lookups require a connection.
