Castle Defender Hero is an offline tower defence game where a single hero defends the gates of Stormhold Keep against a moonlit siege of goblins, orcs, wraiths and an Ember Drake boss. What makes it different from typical tower defence titles is that you do not just place towers and watch — you fight on screen by tapping to cast three distinct spells (Fireball, Frost Nova, Storm Bolt), each with its own mana cost, cooldown and tactical role, while three lanes and six tower platforms host any combination of Archer Spires, Mage Sanctums and Iron Cannons that you build and sell on the fly using gold dropped by enemies.
The campaign is hand-tuned across six escalating levels, each with unique wave compositions, castle hit points and starting gold, leading into a fully scaling Endless Tide mode where every wave grows tougher than the last and your highest wave is recorded as a personal record. A built-in Bestiary, Tower Codex, Spell Codex and Story chapter let you read complete stats and original lore for every unit in the game, turning the menu itself into a small encyclopaedia.
The interface is built for both small phones and large tablets without overflows, supports portrait and landscape orientation, and can be played entirely with one thumb. The app runs without internet, requests no permissions, includes no advertising, no analytics and no in-app purchases — all progress, gold and settings are stored only on the device and can be erased from a single button in Settings. A four-step difficulty slider, separate music, sound and haptics toggles, and instant pause make the game accessible for short sessions and for longer strategic runs alike.
