CatchHour scores fishing conditions hour by hour, so you know when it is worth going out - and when it is not.
The score is built from the weather that actually moves fish: barometric pressure and its trend, wind, air temperature, cloud cover, precipitation, sunrise and sunset, the moon phase, solunar feeding periods, and wave height on the coast. The weather itself is the median of five national forecast models, so a single wrong model cannot mislead you.
WHAT YOU GET
- An hour-by-hour score for any point you choose
- The reason behind every number: pressure falling, wind turning, a major feeding period
- A 7-day forecast, and the five weather models compared hour by hour
- Moon calendar and solunar feeding periods
- A catch log that keeps the conditions of every fish you land
YOUR SPOTS STAY YOURS
Anglers keep their places to themselves. Saved spots and your catch log live in the app's own storage on your phone. They are never sent to our servers, and we could not show them to anyone even if we were asked.

CatchHour gives an estimate, not a promise - no forecast can tell you that fish will bite. Please do not use it to decide whether it is safe to go out on the water; rely on official marine and weather warnings for that.
