CatchID is a fishing companion app that helps anglers identify likely fish species from a photo and save catches to a personal catch log.

Take a photo or choose one from your gallery, then review the suggested species, confidence level, visible clues and possible alternatives. If you want to keep a record, you can save the catch with optional details such as location, bait used and weight.

CatchID is designed for quick, simple use at the water’s edge. Whether you are checking a catch, building a record of your fishing trips, or learning to recognise different species, CatchID gives you a clear starting point.

Identification results are suggestions and may not always be accurate, especially with poor-quality photos, unusual angles, unclear images or less common species. Always follow local fishing rules, seasons, catch limits and conservation guidance before keeping or releasing fish.

What’s new
