About this app

Catechized brings the Christian tradition into one place.

Read the Church Fathers. Explore Scripture through historic Christian commentary. Follow the liturgical year. Discover saints and feast days. Pray with devotional resources. Listen to classic works. Ask questions across the tradition using citation-grounded semantic AI.

Catechized is built for Christians who want deeper access to the writings, practices, history, and devotional life of the Church.

Ask the Church Fathers

Ask theological, biblical, historical, or spiritual questions in natural language.

Catechized uses retrieval-augmented generation and semantic search to find relevant passages across the library and generate answers grounded in the source texts. Responses include citations so you can open the original work, see the context, and read the Fathers for yourself.

Explore Scripture through the Christian tradition

Go beyond a single modern commentary.

Catechized connects passages of Scripture with relevant interpretations and commentary from the Church Fathers and other historic Christian writers. Semantic search allows the app to surface meaningful connections even when the original authors used different words or terminology.

Explore how Christians across the centuries have understood the Bible, passage by passage.

Read the original sources

Discover a growing digital library of foundational Christian works from the early Church and beyond.

Read the Fathers themselves, not just summaries of what they taught. Available works can be read in a clean digital reader, highlighted, annotated, and saved for later.

Listen anywhere

Available works include audio so you can listen while commuting, walking, praying, or going about your day.

Live with the liturgical year

Catechized is more than a library.

Follow the liturgical calendar, discover feast days, learn about saints, explore sacred icons, and access devotional resources connected to the life and tradition of the Church.

Whether you are preparing for a feast, discovering a saint, reading a Father, or simply looking for something spiritually enriching, Catechized gives you a place to return each day.

Search the tradition by meaning

You do not need to know the exact quotation, author, or chapter.

Search topics such as the Eucharist, Trinity, baptism, prayer, apostolic succession, salvation, Mary, the saints, or a specific passage of Scripture. Semantic search finds relevant material based on meaning rather than exact keyword matches.

A growing home for the Christian tradition

With Catechized you can:
