Recommended, with some caveats: + Effectively channels old-school LucasArts adventure games. + Well-designed interface with quality-of-life features (hotspot indicators, intuitive inventory). + Impressive presentation: character art, background art, and music are all very well done. +/- English is not the developer's primary language, and while most of the dialogue is decent enough, there are occasional instances where it falls flat or is a bit unintelligible. - The hint system is locked to "casual" mode. - Potentially objectionable character portrayals and events. The main female character is animated in a way that feels sexually objectifying, and the portrayal of a black character veers into stereotype repeatedly. The game ends with a "joke" event that comes across as backwards and inappropriate. - Puzzle design can be inconsistent. There are several times when you can switch between more than one character, sometimes the characters share an inventory, sometimes they don't. On more than one occasion, I was trying to do something, but the game required me to get the hint from somewhere to do exactly the thing that I was trying to do before the game would allow me to do it. Sometimes characters would have new things to say which advanced the story, with no indication that anything had changed. Most of these problems felt like they could have been avoided with more thoughtful design and some playtesting. Overall, I enjoyed playing through Kaptain Brawe, but an otherwise excellent classic adventure game was marred somewhat by some half-baked puzzle design, and a few nose-wrinkling social anachronisms.

I've was charged double, the price on the google playstore. And the sound files won't play, i uninstalled and reinstalled, the game again and still you can't hear the voice actors. Plases fix this and i'll consider rating 5 stars.
