Ratings and reviews

Dropping to 1 star now as there's no improvement. App needs some work... There is no way to exit the app, for one thing. Other problems include scrolling issues, typing issues, force-closing while editing script. There's really no excuse for this on a PAID (real money, hard-earned) app in the year 2026. I reached out to tech support on the issues I was having via the website and they said to use the app as in their words it's the best way to use their program. They couldn't be more wrong.

I'm thankful this app exists, but it does have a few issues, particularly with regards to notifications. I only get the notification on my lock screen maybe 10% of the time, and only once I turn the screen on. I almost always have to go into the app itself to see if I even have any messages. I also recently had the app force itself to stay the active app when I opened it directly from the 'someone liked you' notification, forcing me to restart my phone.

I appreciate what CatholicMatch is trying to do, but their app is really frustrating. First of all, it often logs me out and I have to login again, a minor inconvenience. Second, it's easy to accidentally like someone while just scrolling through their profile, and unfortunately there's no way to unlike someone once you've liked them. That sets up a bad dynamic. Lastly, if I want to chat with someone, it's nearly impossible from my phone because the keyboard hides the text box!
