About this app

Speak to AI tutor Lou: real conversation practice and roleplay, a language tutorial you do out loud.

No tiles to tap and no keyboard. Hold the button, say it, and Lou answers in a natural voice, right away. It feels like chatting with a patient friend who happens to speak the language you're learning.

TALK, DON'T TAP
• Speak to AI and get a reply in a real voice, not a robot reading text
• Free conversation on anything you like, or casual slang talk
• Gentle corrections only when you actually made a mistake. Lou won't "fix" a sentence that was already right
• Lou remembers what you talked about, and when, so the next chat picks up where you left off

40+ REAL-LIFE ROLEPLAY SITUATIONS
Order at a café, check into a hotel, ask for directions, see the doctor, rent a flat, go on a date, nail a job interview. Lou plays the waiter, the receptionist or the landlord, dressed for the part, and keeps the scene going while you speak.
• Every situation has clear goals to reach
• Earn up to three stars per situation
• Collect XP, level up and unlock harder situations as you improve

LEARN AND PRACTICE WORDS WITH LOU
• Learn new words in a short spoken lesson
• Word traps: words that sound alike but mean very different things
• False friends: words that look like English but aren't
• Tongue twisters and "say it right" sound practice

PICK LOU'S MOOD
Friendly, strict, savage, a pirate, a grandma, a gym bro, a posh butler and more. Same tutor, a dozen different personalities, so practice never gets boring.

50+ LANGUAGES
Spanish (Spain or Latin America), French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal or Brazil), Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, English (US or UK) and dozens more, from Arabic and Hindi to Polish, Turkish and Vietnamese. The app menus come in more than 50 languages too.

MADE FOR SPEAKING PRACTICE
Short sessions that fit a coffee break. A daily streak and reminders keep you going. Whether you're starting from zero or getting rusty skills back, the fastest way to become fluent is to speak, every day.
