About this app

The practice of daily prayer originated in monasteries. At various times of day, monks and nuns there interrupt their thoughts and activities to pray. Here you will find daily prayers (and our morning prayer podcast) to accompany you in your everyday life. For it is usually loud and busy around us and within us. To be able to live and believe well amidst all the noise and abundance, we need healing pauses. The daily prayers on the homepage consist of six morning, midday, and evening prayers (for Monday to Saturday) and one Sunday prayer, and they are repeated week after week. The "new" element is your day and the experience of sensing God's perspective on it. For more variety and inspiration, check out the (morning prayer) episodes of the podcast, which already has several thematically diverse seasons. Feel free to browse and choose a season that interests you or follow the current one. We hope that Life Liturgies helps you to pause your thoughts and actions in a healing way, to find inner peace, and to connect with God. Be blessed!
