About this game

Table Kendo is a turn-based dueling game built on the fundamentals of kendo.

Every exchange is a decision. Read the distance, judge your opponent's intent, choose your technique — then land it with a timing challenge. Strength alone will not win a match. Composure will.


HOW A MATCH WORKS

Choose a technique
Men, kote, do, tsuki, feints and counters. Each technique has situations where it shines and situations where it leaves you open.

Land it with timing
After choosing, a timing challenge decides how cleanly you execute. A perfect strike scores. A rushed one leaves you exposed.

Control the distance
Matches move between striking distance and close quarters. The right technique at the wrong distance goes nowhere.

Watch your stamina
Techniques cost stamina, and stamina does not come back on its own. Overextend and your next exchange falls apart.


WHAT YOU CAN PLAY

Practice matches
Face AI opponents across kyu and dan ranks, each with a different fighting style. Win to climb the ranks.

Friend matches
Play against someone on the same Wi-Fi network. One player opens a room, the other joins.

Hall of Fame
See where your record stands among other players.

Distance rules, technique matchups, stamina costs and timing grades — all in one reference you can check any time.
