This app is not compatible with ECOXGEAR generation 1 soundbars or non SoundExtereme branded products. It only supports with the latest generation of products with LEDCast technology.

The SoundExtreme LED remote control app is a next generation app. The app allows users to select the brightness, colors, patterns, and speed of the LED’s, create custom patterns and advanced features such as:
• Group multiple devices together to make changes on all speakers, soundbars, and LED lights at one time.
• Create and save lighting scenes. A lighting scene is like a preset for a radio. You can program each of your device’s and zone’s LED’s to a specific color and action for quick access. Such as create Christmas, 4th of July, Halloween, nighttime, and party scenes for a 1 button access later.
• Change and customize the name of your devices and zones, such as Rear speakers, Soundbar, subwoofer, cabin lights, under glows, roof lights, whips etc.
• Password protected so others cannot gain access and control your lighting system.
• Controls the new line of SoundExtreme devices (not compatible with Gen 1 soundbars models SE26, SE18, SEDS32)

Ratings and reviews

The app consistently crashes, and when trying to reach out to see if there is any active development the e-mail gets bounced unfortunately. The sound bar I got seems good for the price, but the inability to access the lighting of the app is a real disappointment, and anyone reading this should know that you can only turn the lights on and switch through a pre-set, static set of colours.

Not impressed. Basically, it will turn the LEDs on and off. That's it! I can do that without the app. Non of the modes or scenes work. It's junk.

App is non-functional on Android where it crashes immediately after opening. I contacted support and told "it is functioning normally" where I was ghosted when asked with version of android they were testing on. Don't recommend...
