The Quality First app is the essential mobile tool for infrastructure inspection and quality management under the PMGSY Scheme. Designed for First Tier Inspection officers (i.e. PIU Heads), this application digitizes the crucial stage-passing process, ensuring every phase of road and bridge projects meets the highest standards before moving forward.
Seamless Quality Assurance & Project Oversight
The Stage Passing process is central to quality assurance. It mandates that each project phase is rigorously inspected and verified. This app empowers PIU Heads to efficiently conduct and record detailed inspections for both roads (section-wise) and bridges (stage-wise).
Key Process Highlights:
• Mandatory Inspection: PIU Heads must inspect each completed project stage.
• Digital Recording: Inspections, tests, and observations are digitally recorded directly within the app.
• Timely Compliance: Inspections must be completed and recorded within 30 days of the stage completion date in PMIS.
• Automated Certification: Upon satisfactory completion, the inspection data is automatically fed to OMMAS to generate the official Stage-Passing Certificate.

Digital Integration & Transparency
All inspection data is immediately geo-tagged and time-stamped, providing an unalterable record of the quality checks. This data is securely and instantly uploaded to the OMMAS application, ensuring centralized monitoring, transparency, and public accountability across all PMGSY projects.
Built for the Field
• Offline Capabilities: The app is fully functional even in remote areas with no internet access. Conduct and save inspections seamlessly offline, and the data will automatically sync with OMMAS as soon as connectivity is restored.
• Geo-Tagging & Timestamping: Capture and upload geo-referenced and time-stamped photographs to meticulously document the quality of work, test results, and site features.
Efficient Reporting & Documentation
• Automated Certificate Generation: The app streamlines paperwork by generating comprehensive digital inspection certificates. These certificates include all project and inspection details, verification QR codes, and embedded inspection data, speeding up the overall stage-passing workflow.

This application is intended for official use by authorized First Tier Inspection officers/PIU Heads under the PMGSY Scheme.

What’s new

All inspection data records divide in grading wise. (New screen added in menu bar)
“Work Status” filter added in dashboard screen for filter works according to its status.
Chainage buttons enable and disable logic updated according to the given scenario.
