About this app

MattyMode creates a calm phone space for babies and toddlers
— with a parent PIN to help you hand it over with a little
more peace of mind.

MattyMode started when Matty was still small enough to think
phones were a snack. Curious little hands everywhere on the
screen — accidental calls, apps opening, settings changing
— all in seconds. Matty's mom is a teacher, and we knew
early on what we didn't want: another app chasing scores,
constant stimulation, or endless screen time.

We wanted something calmer. Something that could help little
ones settle into a moment instead of constantly pulling for
attention. Gentle enough for a baby in a shopping cart,
flexible enough to grow alongside them.

— WHAT'S INSIDE —

Drawing Canvas
Eight soft colors on a warm cream background. Simple finger
drawing with no stickers, stamps, or distractions. Save
artwork directly to your gallery.

Bubble Touch
Translucent bubbles that float and pop with a gentle haptic.
Slow enough for babies, satisfying enough for toddlers.
Optional soft sound effects. Multi-touch supported.

Photo Viewer
Load your own family photos. Children can swipe through
familiar faces they love. Nothing is uploaded anywhere —
photos stay on your device.

— PARENT CONTROLS —

Parent settings are protected behind a 4-digit PIN. You
choose which activities are available, how long sessions
last, and how quickly the bubbles move. If you ever forget
your PIN, recovery options are built in so you're not stuck.

The built-in timer shows a sleepy character when time is up.
A gentle cue that the session is winding down — and your
signal to step back in.

— THEMES —

Two themes come with the app. Default is the calm navy
palette MattyMode was built around. Ocean slows things
down — softer colors, gentler movement, and the quiet
feeling of being underwater.

Additional themes will be added over time, each one
designed to feel like a different kind of calm.

— PRIVACY —

MattyMode is designed to collect as little as possible. No
advertising, no accounts, and no unnecessary tracking. The
app works completely offline, including in airplane mode.
Your photos, drawings, and settings stay on your device.
