The core is the last thing still running. Everything else is scrap — and scrap
is exactly what you build with.
COREHOLD is a twin-stick base defense game. You move with the left stick and
aim with the right, and between waves you turn the screen into a blueprint:
tap a tile to plan a building, drag to lay a whole wall line, then confirm.
Nothing is spent until you press the check, so a mis-tap costs you nothing.
Walls do not simply stop them. Enemies weigh "break this wall" against "walk
around it", so a sealed ring gets chewed open while a ring with one gate funnels
the whole wave into your guns. That single decision is the game.
Build gates to move through your own wall. Build guns and cannons for the
funnel, lasers for the corridors — a laser beam hits everything in the line.
Build generators for power, miners on ore for income, and fixers to mend what
breaks. Watch for nesters: they ignore your base entirely and run for the map
edge to dig in, and a nest keeps spitting out enemies across every wave that
follows. Stop them before they settle.
You can respawn. The core cannot.
Defend the core, build defenses, and survive endless enemy waves!
