About this app

This application generates Morse code (CW) interactions like those encountered on the air, allowing you to test and improve your code skills at speeds you choose. For slower speeds, it creates shorter simulated QSOs, while higher speeds yield longer QSO messages. You can also generate a longer random message and then adjust the speed lower before playing the code sounds. The application supports Morse code sound generation from 5 to 50 words per minute. The application now includes Farnsworth encoding, which has been shown to help some users improve their code speed improvement, as well as noise and interference generation.

There are also memory buttons at the bottom of the screen where you can save and recall user-specified text. Noise (QRN) and interference (QRM) generation to simulate real-world conditions is also supported.

What’s new

Increased QRM volume. Adjusted the creation of the tone (again). Placed a limit on Farnsworth encoding, since it really shouldn't be used above about 17 WPM. I made minor adjustments on QSO grammar to increase randomness of text created.

I still do not like the tone creation.
