The Magic Cube solves your cube and also lets you solve it yourself, all in 3D and directly on the device. From 2x2 to 5x5.
SOLVE YOUR CUBE
Color the cube on the screen and receive the complete solution, step by step. Each movement appears animated on the 3D cube, with an arrow above the layer that will rotate. Advance at your own pace, go back a step when you make a mistake, or leave it on automatic and just follow along. You can adjust the animation speed.
TRULY SHORT SOLUTIONS
A solution with hundreds of moves is useless for someone who has the cube in their hand. Therefore, each size uses the best known method:
• 2x2 — always the minimum possible, a maximum of 11 moves
• 3x3 — Kociemba method, about 20 moves in less than a second
• 4x4 — reduction in three stages, about 44 moves
• 5x5 — reduction in five stages, about 72 moves
For comparison: most apps and websites solve the 4x4 and 5x5 cubes in hundreds of moves.
PLAY IT YOURSELF
Scramble and solve by hand, dragging the stickers with your finger to rotate the layers — including the inner layers in the large cubes, and two layers at once when you want. There's a timer to measure your attempt, an undo button to go back, and a hint for when you get stuck: an arrow appears above the cube indicating the next turn. If you want, ask for the entire solution at any time.
PAINTING COLORS WITHOUT SUFFERING
Choose between the 3D cube, which you rotate with your finger, and the flattened view, where you can drag and paint multiple stickers at once, with two-finger zoom. If the colors don't form a real cube, the app tells you exactly what's wrong—a rotated corner, an inverted edge, a color appearing too many times—instead of just rejecting it.
WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
The solution is calculated on the device itself. No server, no network waiting: you can use it on a plane, on a bus, or anywhere without a signal.
NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED
There's no login, account, or password. The cube you painted, the solution in progress, and the time of your attempt are saved only on your device, and return to how they were if you accidentally close the app.

Short 5x5 solutions depend on a data file that the app offers to download the first time you solve this size. The download is optional and you decide: without it, the 5x5 problem can still be solved, but with many more steps. You can remove it later and free up space through the app's menu.
