CensusIO is the offline-first way to collect fish and wildlife survey data in the field and send it straight into your organization's records.
Connect once with a setup code from your organization, download the forms you have been given, and collect anywhere, with or without a signal. Records are stored on the device and sync when you are back in range.
Built for field crews:
- Works fully offline. Capture a whole day of records with no connection, then sync when you have one.
- The forms are your organization's survey types, with the same fields, controlled species and lookup lists, and validation you use everywhere else, so bad data is caught in the field.
- Record a GPS point for each observation, with live accuracy, and take or attach photos.
- Fill one question at a time, with skip logic that hides questions that do not apply.
- Add repeating groups, such as a haul with many fish, as a simple list.
- Review a record before you save, and edit or delete records on the device.
- Two-way sync: a change made on the web shows up on the device, and if the same record was changed in two places, the app walks you through resolving it.
- Available in English, French, and Spanish, including your survey's field labels when your organization provides them.
CensusIO is the system of record for survey data: collection, validation, review, reporting, and standards-aligned export and archiving. This app is the field-collection side of it.
Note: CensusIO is used by organizations such as agencies, research groups, and field teams. You need a setup code from an organization that uses CensusIO to collect with this app. Learn more at censusio.com.
